He was the owner and manager of the Cunningham Insurance agency for over ten years before entering partnership with his wife, Dr. Everlene Cunningham, in managing various human service agencies under contracts with the state of Maryland and the district of Columbia. 

Dennis Selvarajasingham worked in the banking industry in India prior to emigrating to the USA in 2000.

His financial experience is heavily weighted in financial market analysis and trading, and corporate budgeting and finance. Joflet Selvarajasingmham is an accountant by training and experience with extensive experience in facility administration, budget and finance and personnel administration. Her educational background includes a Master's degree in commerce.
